Are you in the mood to kick back, relax, and take in a nonsensical flick about a group of college students trapped in a cabin in the woods and forced to contend with a gaggle of zombie beavers? If you answered that crucial question in the affirmative, I’ve got just what you need! The irreverent horror comedy Zombeavers is now available to stream on Tubi!
This outlandish and gruesome horror comedy plays out as follows:
College friends find their weekend of sex and debauchery ruined when deadly zombie beavers swarm their riverside cabin.
The film is a joint release between our parent company, Epic Pictures, and Freestyle Releasing. With that said, I only recently found out that Epic was involved and required absolutely no prompting to loudly proclaim my endless appreciation for this zany effort. In fact, I have already done so. That’s right, back in 2022, I penned an installment of my Dread Central column, The Overlooked Motel, extolling the picture’s praises. There’s a lot to love about it, after all.
Accordingly, I will share a brief excerpt from my previous coverage below:
“The comedy-laced gore is tonally reminiscent of Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead trilogy. In fact, [co-writer and director Jordan] Rubin appears to pay quite a bit of homage to The Evil Dead. From the cabin in the woods setting to the slapstick tone to the creatures attempting to enter the cabin through the floorboards, Zombeavers is a good-natured nod to the King of the Deadites.”
What do you think, dear reader? Have I sold you on Zombeavers as an essential horror comedy? I sure hope that I have, because it absolutely is. If you’re down to clown, make your way over to Tubi and see what you think!
So, now that you know where to stream the bonkers horror comedy Zombeavers, will you be taking my recommendation and making your way over to Tubi to give the flick a shot? I certainly hope you will. If you do, be sure to let us know your thoughts in the comments section below.

Stay tuned to Dread Central in the very near future for more enticing updates, essential asides, and compelling recommendations as we come across them. In the meantime, if you’d like to track me down on social media, you can find me sharing pictures of my menagerie of pets and championing underrated films on Threads as @FunWithHorror.
