Get Your Dinosaur Survival Horror Fix in Latest ‘Code Violet’ Gameplay Video [Watch]

After announcing their third-person horror title Code Violet back in January, TeamKill Media is giving prospective fans a whole lot of gameplay to chew on with a new 19-minute extended reveal. The video shows off some of the puzzles you’ll be encountering, along with the expected exploration and dinosaur encounters that Dino Crisis fans will no doubt be excited to experience.

In Code Violet, you play as Violet Sinclair, a woman plucked from her time period and relocated to Trappist 1-E, a new world where the remnants of humanity, a colony known as Aion, have relocated in the 25th century after Earth has been left uninhabitable and in ruins. Using their technology to jump to different periods in time, Aion has brought back women to Trappist 1-E in order to be surrogates and prevent mankind’s extinction.

However, Sinclair she soon finds herself caught up in a conspiracy and a fight for survival when she discovers the true intentions of the Aion Bioengineering Complex. With scarce resources, strategic inventory management, and explosive combat, you must out-think and out-run the colony’s hostile forces, but also prehistoric dinosaurs.

Code Violet is currently in development for release on the PlayStation 5 for a tentative July 2025 release.
