‘Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II’ Coming This Summer to PlayStation 5

Publisher Xbox Game Studios and developer Ninja Theory will be bringing Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II to the PlayStation 5 later this summer. You can wishlist the game now via the PlayStation Store. Announced via X on the one year anniversary of the initial release of the game to the Xbox Series, the PlayStation 5 release will include “exciting new features.”

The game will be optimized for PlayStation 5, and PS5 Pro Enhanced, with added features and immersive haptic feedback for “new ways to experience the award-winning and critically acclaimed next chapter of Senua’s story,” according to the listing on the PS Store.

Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II takes place after the events of the acclaimed 2017 original, where Senua has returned from Hel. Confronted with the devastation of her homeland at the hands of Viking raiders, Senua undertakes a brutal journey of survival through the myth and torment of Viking Iceland in order to exact revenge for the victims of the raiders.

Hellblade II features a revamped fighting system from the previous game, which aims to have the player feel the visceral combat, which has been “made to feel like you’re really there with [Senua]“.

In addition to the Xbox Series and PlayStation 5, Senua’s Saga: Hellblade II is also available on PC via Steam.
