San Diego Comic-Con 2025 kicks off July 24-27, bringing with it a slew of exciting new announcements, events, and collectibles. That includes new exclusive products from Mattel Creations, featuring new coveted items from Mattel’s “Monster High” collection!
Debuting at Mattel’s San Diego Comic-Con merchandise booth (#2945) on Thursday, July 24 through Sunday, July 27, 2025 are two new must-haves: Monster High
Skullector Elvira Doll and Monster High® Sweet Screams Twyla, both with SRP of $80.
“This lineup of collectibles salutes the fearless, fashion-forward and cherished female characters that continue to break boundaries,” said Nick Karamanos, senior vice president, Mattel Creations & Entertainment Partnerships at Mattel. “From gothic glam to gaming icons, these collectibles honor the fan-favorite heroines from the franchises our fans know and love.”
The new Elvira Doll marks the second collaboration between the Mistress of the Dark and Mattel, with the horror host now in a showstopper gown.
About the Elvira addition: “Nightmares really do come true! Once again, Monster High has collaborated with the Mistress of the Dark herself to conjure an Elvira Skullector doll. With a shimmering batwing cape and black faux leather dress, her look would dazzle even the darkest depths of the underworld. So, dim the lights and make yourself uncomfortable, because Elvira is going to put on a performance that’ll raise the dead!”
Joining her on the SDCC floor is a special-edition release of Twyla: “Sweet Screams returns in all her candy-coated glory with a fan-favorite twist—Twyla makes her delicious debut in this special-edition release. Styled in a dreamy cotton-candy theme, Twyla stuns in her signature tulle-confection dress, complete with syrup-dripped accessories and eerie-sweet details. Her loyal pet bunny, Dustin, returns with a fun new feature: a cotton candy scent. The doll also includes a collectible comic that continues the Sweet Screams saga.”
Products will be available at the Mattel merchandise booth (#2945) and on MattelCreations.com, with Monster High® Skullector Elvira Doll offered exclusively onsite.
