More Blood, More Points: ‘Terrifier’ Team Announces ‘Stream 2’!

Fuzz on the Lens Productions, the production team behind box office hits Terrifier 2 and Terrifier 3, has officially announced Stream 2, a sequel to last year’s original horror film Stream!

Announced at the Days of the Dead Horror Convention in Indianapolis this weekend, Stream 2 will “build on its predecessor’s all too real technology driven storyline while still maintaining the feel of a classic slasher.” Michael Leavy is back to direct the upcoming sequel, with David Howard Thornton (Terrifier 2, Terrifier 3) reprising his role from the first movie.

Jason Leavy will also be returning as a producer with Steven Della Salla as the producer and director of photography. The sequel is in development with a script outline already in place.

The team previews, “Stream 2 will further tug on the thread that was revealed in Stream and unravel the dark web surrounding a twisted game of life and death.”

Stream centers around a game that pits masked murders against each other as they compete to rack up the most creative kills possible, all while it is live streamed to fans at home who bet on the action. It’s available now in over 30 countries on demand via Amazon, Apple TV, Google, YouTube and Fandango Now with a physical DVD & Blu-ray release coming this summer.

Stream was always meant to be a love letter to the horror community. From the moment it hit theaters the fan response has been overwhelmingly positive and it continues to build on that strong foundation with a fresh Rotten Tomatoes score of 95%, so it’s only logical to give the people what they want … More Blood and More Points,” says Michael Leavy.

“From the very beginning we have always had the intention of making many Stream films, so everything about part 1 was basically a promise to horror fans that there would be so much more. Now it is incredibly exciting to follow through on that promise and show how much more there is to this world we’ve created,” adds Steven Della Salla.

“I’m excited to return for Stream 2 and explore more of who Player 2 is. It’s great being part of yet another horror franchise that’s driven by the fans and to do it again with this group is a dream come true. From Terrifier to Screamboat and Stream this is a dream team. Stream 2 is going to take the next step forward like we did from Terrifier 1 to 2, but this time we will skip right to 3,” teases David Howard Thornton, returning as Player 2.

“A Stream sequel isn’t just warranted, it was inevitable. Fuzz on the Lens is doubling down on what made the first film stand out and the sequel is set to raise the stakes with more inventive gore, exciting mythos and a cast of horror icons,” adds Damien Leone, Terrifier Creator & Stream Co-Producer / Special Makeup Effects artist.
