Sarah Bolger to Star in South Korea-Set Psychological Horror Film ‘Nervous’

Sarah Bolger (The Lazarus Effect, “Mayans M.C.”) is starring in the horror film Nervous, Deadline has learned.

Production is currently underway in and around Seoul, South Korea. The movie will be mostly in English but also includes some Korean.

The psychological horror story follows a woman spiraling into a seductive nightmare beyond her control as she navigates a troubled marriage and disorientating cultural terrain in the Korean countryside.

Ko Ah-sung (Snowpiercer) and Sungsoo Yune (“Strong Girl Nam-soon”) co-star.

Abner Pastoll, who previously directed Bolger in A Good Woman Is Hard to Find, directs from a script he co-wrote with Richard Hobley (Slumber).

Junyoung Jang (The Host, A Good Woman Is Hard to Find) is producing alongside Pastoll via Seoul-based production company Story Robot, in association with February Films.

Executive producers include Youngmin Kim (Exhuma), Guillaume Benski (Mrs. Harris Goes to Paris), Lloyd Levin (Hellboy), and Beatriz Levin (Da 5 Bloods).
