‘Xeno’ Trailer – Kevin Hart-Produced Sci-Fi Adventure Looks Like a Modern ‘E.T.’

Featuring creature designs by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop, Xeno is a sci-fi adventure in the spirit of E.T. and The Iron Giant.

It lands in theaters on September 19 via Blue Fox Entertainment. Watch the trailer below.

Lulu Wilson (Annabelle: Creation) stars as a teenage girl who forms a powerful bond with a terrifying alien after a chance encounter in the desert, sending them on an adventure that questions the nature of good and evil.

As government agents close in, the girl discovers the alien is not the extraterrestrial she expected. Compelled to protect her new friend, she uncovers a secret that could change the fate of both their worlds.

Produced by Kevin Hart via his Heartbeak Productions, the film marks the debut of writer-director Matthew Loren Oates.

Wrenn Schmidt (Nope), Trae Romano (“Stargirl”), Josh Cooke (“Dexter”), Paul Schneider (“Parks and Recreation”), and Omari Hardwick (Army of the Dead) round out the cast.

Xeno is rated “PG-13” for violent content/bloody images, thematic elements, and some strong language.
