Saber Interactive Teases Latest Game Reveal for July 22 [Video]

Developer Saber Interactive, the minds behind Evil Dead: The Game and World War Z: Aftermath has something cooking for horror fans for their next title. Problem is, we won’t know just what it is until next week. The developer has released a new post to X, teasing an announcement coming July 22 with an accompanying 30 second video that obviously has fans buzzing.

The accompanying link in the post leads to a website july-22-2025.com that has an equally-cryptic reveal time of 9am ET on July 22.

Obviously, fans have done their sleuthing, with many saying that that the announcement is related to a new Hellraiser game. Indeed, listening to the video, which features a flickering TV surrounded by candles in a dark room, you hear chains, screams, and a voice that sort of sounds like Doug Bradley, aka Pinhead, but not quite.

Others meanwhile are saying that the voice sounds like Jigsaw of Saw fame, which would be a return of the franchise to video games after 2010’s Saw II: Flesh & Blood. Other have mentioned John Carpenter’s Toxic Commando, which has unfortunately been MIA since its announcement back in 2023.

Regardless, we did our snooping of the website and the video on X, and couldn’t find any indication of anything that pointed to Hellraiser or Saw, so Saber Interactive has done their best to hide things. We’ll have to wait until next week.
