There’s a chill entering the air, which means only one thing: Halloween is right around the corner. And with Halloween, there always comes a new entry in our favorite found footage horror anthology, V/H/S/. This year, though, is particularly special because the series is going back to basics with V/H/S/Halloween, with all segments themed around the most wonderful time of the year!
The synopsis simply reads, “A collection of Halloween-themed videotapes unleashes a series of twisted, blood-soaked tales, turning trick-or-treat into a struggle for survival.“
The directors and their segments include:
- DIET PHANTASMA directed by Bryan M. Ferguson
- FUN SIZE directed by Casper Kelly
- HOME HAUNT directed by Micheline Pitt-Norman and R.H. Norman
- KIDPRINT directed by Alex Ross Perry
- UT SUPRA SIC INFRA directed by Paco Plaza
- COOCHIE COOCHIE COO directed by Anna Zlokovic

The list of this year’s directors is especially stacked, especially with [REC] creator Paco Plaza joining with his own vision of terror. Plus, Casper Kelly, who created not only The Scooby Doo Project, but also Too Many Cooks and The Adult Swim Yule Log, is going to deliver what we can only imagine will be a surreal nightmare. Not to mention Micheline Pitt-Norman and R.H. Norman, who are going to deliver a Halloween to remember in their segment!
V/H/S/Halloween comes exclusively to Shudder on Friday, October 3, 2025.
