Dread Central is thrilled to debut an exclusive behind-the-scenes video featuring the cast and creative team behind Lionsgate’s adaptation of Stephen King’s The Long Walk. The featurette provides an in-depth look at how King’s early novel was transformed into one of the year’s most acclaimed and intense thrillers. It spotlights the film’s young ensemble as they share insight into one of literature’s original dystopian nightmares and how they brought it to life.

The Long Walk stars Cooper Hoffman, David Jonsson, Garrett Wareing, Tut Nyuot, Charlie Plummer, Ben Wang, Roman Griffin Davis, Jordan Gonzalez, Josh Hamilton, Joshua Odjick, Judy Greer, and Mark Hamill. The movie has been met with strong critical reception, earning an 87 percent rating on Rotten Tomatoes, and has become a box office success with more than 57.6 million dollars worldwide.

Directed by Francis Lawrence and adapted by JT Mollner, The Long Walk explores a bleak and emotionally charged competition that forces its characters—and the audience—to consider how far someone can be pushed. Lawrence, known for his work on the Hunger Games franchise, brings an epic and gritty approach to King’s iconic story.

The Long Walk arrives on Blu-ray (+ Digital), DVD, and an Amazon-exclusive 4K UHD (+ Blu-ray + Digital) SteelBook on November 25 from Lionsgate. A standard 4K UHD (+ Blu-ray + Digital) combo pack will follow on December 23.
