Arrow Video is resurrecting one of Wes Craven’s most unusual mid-’80s curios with a new Deadly Friend Limited Edition Blu-ray — and Dread Central has your exclusive first look at a clip from the release.
Originally released in 1986, Deadly Friend follows teenage robotics prodigy Paul, whose desperate attempt to save his neighbor Samantha leads to a grisly rebirth with deadly consequences. The film stars Kristy Swanson and Matthew Laborteaux from a screenplay by Bruce Joel Rubin (Jacob’s Ladder, Ghost).
The Arrow Video Limited Edition is currently slated for November 17, 2025 (Region B) and includes the following contents:
