Let’s be honest: this year, have you been naughty … or nice? Inquiring minds want to know, since today we’ve landed an exclusive look at Silent Night, Deadly Night, the upcoming reimagining of the 1984 cult horror film from our friends at Cineverse/Bloody Disgusting.

The footage, as seen below, bares witness to bloodthirsty young Billy as he quietly checks in to a small, cozy room before unpacking some very important holiday stocking stuffers. Looks like good ol’ Billy is back … and he’s brought his axe.

The brand new film is written and directed by Mike P. Nelson (Sweet Revenge) and stars rising genre icon Rohan Campbell (Halloween Ends, The Monkey) alongside Ruby Modine, Mark Acheson, David Lawrence Brown, and David Tomlinson. It serves as a new interpretation of the brutal original 1984 holiday horror classic of the same name.

Silent Night, Deadly Night (2025) is reimagining of the controversial 1984 original – when Billy witnesses his parents’ grisly murder on Christmas Eve at the hands of Santa, it ignites a lifelong mission to spread holiday fear. So, naturally, every Christmas, he dons the jolly red suit and delivers a blood-soaked massacre to feed his twisted sense of justice.

This holiday season, both Dread Central and Billy want to know: Have you been naughty?

Silent Night, Deadly Night is set to release on December 12th 2025.
