In the sequel, Grace (Samara Weaving) returns with her estranged sister, Faith (Kathryn Newton), who must survive being hunted together in the horror-comedy.
The Radio Silence-directed Ready or Not was such a quiet hit for Searchlight Pictures that it’s no surprise they found a way to get a sequel off the ground, only this time they’ve upped the ante in more ways than one.
In our review of the first film, we wrote, “Ready or Not is a devilishly good time. Samara Weaving wades through viscera and gore, emerging as a new Queen of Horror.”
While a comedy, yes, the first film was an absolute bloodbath. As for the sequel? Export more!
The MPA has rated the sequel “R” for “Strong bloody violence, gore, pervasive language and brief drug use.”
“Moments after surviving an all-out attack from the Le Domas family, Grace (Weaving) discovers she’s reached the next level of the nightmarish game — and this time with her estranged sister Faith (Newton) at her side.”
The games begin in theaters on March 20, 2026.
