Kevin James, Joel McHale and Lulu Wilson-Starring Home Invasion Thriller ‘Becky’ Arriving in June

Kevin James stars alongside Joel McHale and Annabelle: Creation‘s Lulu Wilson in the upcoming home invasion action-thriller Becky, which will be releasing this coming June.

Deadline reports today that Quiver Distribution and Redbox Entertainment have acquired North American rights to the film, setting a digital and on-demand release for June 5th.

Becky is described as “John Wick with a 14-year-old girl.” Kevin James, it’s interesting to note, is playing the film’s villain, the comedian turning to the dark side for the first time.

“The film centers on rebellious 14-year-old Becky (Wilson) as she’s brought to a weekend getaway at a lake house by her father in an effort to try to reconnect after her mother’s death. The trip takes a turn for the worse when a group of convicts on the run, led by the merciless Dominick (James), suddenly invade the lake house.”

“Becky, not daddy’s little girl anymore, decides to take matters into her own hands.”

Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion (Bushwick) directed.

Nick Morris, Ruckus Skye and Lane Skye wrote the script.
