All Elite Wrestling Paid Tribute to ‘Ghostbusters’ Last Night With Themed Match and Stay Puft Appearance [Video]

You can always count on professional wrestling to celebrate Halloween, and while WWE’s NXT brought back Halloween Havoc this year (with a special guest appearance by Chucky!), competitor All Elite Wrestling (AEW) also made sure to celebrate in their own way this week.

On a special Halloween episode of AEW Dynamite on TNT last night, the faction known as The Elite came to the ring for their match dressed as the classic Ghostbusters, battling rival faction The Dark Order – who wore their own costumes, including Kratos from God of War.

The eight-man main event tag team match saw The Elite (Adam Cole, Kenny Omega and The Young Bucks) being defeated by The Dark Order (Stu Grayson, Evil Uno, Colt Cabana and John Silver) with a little help from the Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, who turned out to be Hangman Page hiding underneath one of those inflatable costumes you’ll find over at Spirit Halloween.

You can watch highlights from the match below, with the fan-uploaded video underneath spotlighting The Elite’s fun entrance, complete with bootleg Ghostbusters theme song!

And yes, of course they ended up using their proton packs as weapons.
