Per Gematsu, developer Ska Studios has announced that their upcoming follow-up to Salt And Sanctuary in Salt and Sacrifice will release on PC exclusive to the Epic Games Store. The title is still on track for a 2022 release for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
The story for Salt And Sacrifice concerns the decaying Altarstone Kingdom, where twisted Mages have spread corruption through the land. Only the Marked Inquisitors—criminals who elect to fight instead of face execution—stand in the Mages’ way. Players will choose from eight classes as traverse the realm. Along the way, you can call upon friends to join you in your fight. However, by doing so, you open yourself up to invasion from other players.
