Dark and Brutal Survival Horror Experience ‘Eternal Evil’ Launches May 30 for PS5, Xbox Series [Trailer]

Previously released on Steam back in 2022, developer/publisher Honor Games will be bringing their first-person Survival Horror title Eternal Evil to PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on May 30. Pre-orders on both platforms for this send-up to the “golden age of Survival Horror” are now available.

An apocalyptic event has caused the citizens of the town to turn into bloodthirsty ghouls, attacking the remaining survivors, who are hopelessly trying to survive. You are one such survivor, and only you can beat back the darkness. Uncover who or what has caused this event and why.

Sporting the expected classic Survival Horror gameplay, you’ll be navigating tight corridors while scrounging up scarce resources against a brutal difficulty with “no hand-holding.” That includes solving the requisite puzzles, as well as uncovering secrets hidden across the game’s interconnected locations.

You’ll also need to manage your limited ammo, healing, and tools as you fight your way through the infected streets. Eternal Evil features realistic gunplay and physics-based dismemberment, as well as enemies that mutate, hunt, and overwhelm, leaving every encounter a fight for your life.
