"Super Mario: Underworld" Just Made Me Gleeful

As far as games go, I've always been a big fan of the Silent Hills, Resident Evils, and anything else with the jump scares, or at least something with big monsters in it. "Castlevania: Lords of Shadow" is a winner in my book, too. So is Skyrim. But this? This takes the cake and makes me wonder if someone over at Nintendo could make this a reality, because when you think about it, what Mario has to go through on a daily basis is a bit of a horror disaster!

Like we're pitting some ideals of the Walking Dead, the freakishness of Rocky Horror, a taste of actual Underworld, and the classic Mario with philosophical thought (I mean, how many times has Mario died in one single game session??): this is genius. We're willing to bet the kids of Netflix's "Stranger Things" would get a kick out of this.

When you think about it, it could actually make sense. We've got the ghosts. The giant dragons (Bowser), lots of dark caverns, and ravenous mushrooms. I'd say that makes for a great horror-filled 3D game launched with their new Nintendo Switch coming out soon. Just sayin'. I'd buy that game. I'd buy this, too!
