Fans Remake ‘Resident Evil’ in ‘Resident Evil 4’ With ‘Resident Evil: Remix’

With the talk of the rumoured-but-not-announced remake of Resident Evil 4, one group of fans have been busy with a remake of their own. No, not another RE4 remake, but rather a remake of the original game using Resident Evil 4‘s engine! Resident Evil: Remix is a still under-development fan remake by Mr Curious, and recently YouTube channel Residence of Evil posted a 30-minute gameplay montage of the game.

While elements of Resident Evil 4 still remain, the mod creators have done an amazing job so far recreating the Spencer Mansion and the mod in general, right down to the interface sounds and door opening transitions. The mod isn’t available to the public as of yet, nor is there any guarantee that Capcom won’t catch wind of this. But hey, fingers crossed that this sees its way to fruition.
