Kevin James is a Sadistic Bearded Villain in Rated “R” Home Invasion Thriller ‘Becky’ [Trailer]

“King of Queens” actor/comedian Kevin James plays a villain for the very first time in Jonathan Milott and Cary Murnion‘s (Bushwick) home invasion thriller Becky, which has landed an “R” rating and unleashed its first trailer today.

Quiver Distribution and Redbox Entertainment have acquired North American rights to the film, setting a digital and on-demand release for June 5th. Joel McHale and Annabelle: Creation‘s Lulu Wilson also star.

Wilson is an ass-kicking Kevin McCallister type in the film, with James playing a bearded, bald-headed Nazi. You’ve certainly never seen the Paul Blart star like this before, to say the least.

Check out the trailer (via EW) below.

Becky has been rated “R” for “Strong bloody violence, grisly images, and language.”

“The film centers on rebellious 14-year-old Becky (Wilson) as she’s brought to a weekend getaway at a lake house by her father in an effort to try to reconnect after her mother’s death. The trip takes a turn for the worse when a group of convicts on the run, led by the merciless Dominick (James), suddenly invade the lake house.”

“Becky, not daddy’s little girl anymore, decides to take matters into her own hands.”

Nick Morris, Ruckus Skye and Lane Skye wrote the script.

The Top 10 Streaming Scary Movies of Today (According to Netflix)

Given that Netflix really is the master of their own data, how many times a viewer streams The Ridiculous 6, or what films don't get watched all the way straight through, or how many times someone watches an episode of Bill Nye Saves the World, it was easy for them to come up with the list based on just one percentage: 70 percent.
