Tackle The Horrors of The Mind in Psychological Horror Game ‘What Happened’

The exploration of anxiety and depression have long been a mainstay of psychological horror, and for developers Genius Slackers, they hope to capitalize on that with their upcoming first-person game, What Happened. The title will launch on PC via Steam this July, followed by a console release in the future.

In What Happened, players take on the role of a high school student named Stiles. You must save Stiles from the darkness that exists in his mind. As players help Stiles solve puzzles and escape the clutches of his demons, the game will subtly respond to the empathy they show him. Players will pull the invisible strings that decide Stiles’ fate, as they attempt to lead him to the proverbial light at the end of the tunnel.

For more info on the game, you can hit up its official site.
