‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ Moves into New Pre-Summer 2021 Release Date

Adam Wingard‘s fight film Godzilla vs. Kong has been officially moved out of its November 2020 release date, we’ve learned tonight, now set for release on May 21st, 2021.

The other day, Godzilla vs. Kong was officially rated PG-13, the same rating given to previous MonsterVerse films GodzillaKong: Skull Island and Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Godzilla vs. Kong is “Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of creature violence/destruction and brief language.”

The epic adventure will pit two of the greatest icons in motion picture history against one another – the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong – with humanity caught in the balance…

“In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.”

Warner Bros. has also moved The Witches out of its October 2020 release date, with no new date scheduled. And a New Line horror movie has been set for June 4th, 2021.

Additionally, The Matrix 4 has moved from May 2021 to April 1st, 2022.
