‘Godzilla vs. Kong’ Officially Rated PG-13 for “Intense Sequences of Creature Violence”

If there’s one thing we love, it’s intense creature violence.

As far as we’ve heard, Adam Wingard‘s fight film Godzilla vs. Kong is still scheduled for release on November 11, 2020, and the official MPAA rating has arrived this week.

Not surprisingly, Godzilla vs. Kong has been rated PG-13, the same rating given to previous MonsterVerse films Godzilla, Kong: Skull Island and Godzilla: King of the Monsters.

Godzilla vs. Kong is “Rated PG-13 for intense sequences of creature violence/destruction and brief language.”

With a rating in place, we expect a trailer sometime soon. Stay tuned!

The epic adventure will pit two of the greatest icons in motion picture history against one another – the fearsome Godzilla and the mighty Kong – with humanity caught in the balance…

“In a time when monsters walk the Earth, humanity’s fight for its future sets Godzilla and Kong on a collision course that will see the two most powerful forces of nature on the planet collide in a spectacular battle for the ages. As Monarch embarks on a perilous mission into uncharted terrain and unearths clues to the Titans’ origins, a human conspiracy threatens to wipe the creatures, both good and bad, from the face of the earth forever.”
