Two months ago, Techland announced that their then-cancelled Hellraid game would be incorporated into Dying Light as part of a new DLC. Well, Techland has made your summer a little more interesting now, as the Hellraid DLC will hit PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on July 23.
The new DLC sees the player leaving the streets of Harran and entering into an otherworldly stronghold overrun by servants of Hell. You and up to four people will be slaying brand-new demonic enemies with medieval swords, axes, and hammers as you venture through dimly-lit stone corridors. Hellraid also has a new game mode, where multiple runs through the fortress for bounties results in additional prizes. Improve your Hellraid rank to access new weapons you can also wield outside of the infernal realm.
Dying Light is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The sequel, Dying Light 2, is currently in production.
