‘Hocus Pocus’ Coming to 4K Ultra HD Just in Time for Halloween

The family-friendly Halloween classic Hocus Pocus has been streaming on Disney+ in 4K Ultra HD since last November, and we’ve learned today that a 4K Ultra HD disc is on the way.

Broke Horror Fan brings us word that Disney’s 4K disc will arrive on September 15.

Kenny Ortega directed the 1993 film, co-written by Mick Garris.

“After three centuries, three witch sisters are resurrected in Salem, Massachusetts on Halloween night, and it is up to two teenagers, a young girl, and an immortal cat to put an end to their reign of terror once and for all.”

On a related note, Disney+ is also developing a sequel to Hocus Pocus, and there’s a good chance Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy will all be back.
