Kevin Bacon Haunted and Tormented in This ‘You Should Have Left’ Featurette [Exclusive]

“I love scary movies,” exclaims star Kevin Bacon in this exclusive featurette for You Should Have Left, arriving on all VOD platforms June 18th, which he says is “its own kind of scary.”

Bloody Disgusting has an exclusive look at a featurette for the new Blumhouse thriller from Universal Pictures in which the Friday the 13th, Tremors and Stir of Echoes star and Amanda Seyfried (Jennifer’s Body) play a couple seeking a restful vacation on an isolated edge of the world only to discover that secrets demand a reckoning … and travel with you.

The below featurette features shows new footage and shares interviews with the two stars who talk about Bacon being forced to face his demons at the hands of a haunted house… one that refuses to let them leave.

Watch the film’s trailer.

“Theo Conroy (Bacon) is a successful middle-aged man whose marriage to his much younger actress wife, Susanna (Seyfried) is shredding at the seams, frayed by her secretiveness, his jealousy, and the shadow of his past. In an effort to repair their relationship, Theo and Susanna book a vacation at a stunning, remote modern home in the Welsh countryside for themselves and their six-year-old daughter, Ella (Avery Essex). What at first seems like a perfect retreat distorts into a perfect nightmare when Theo’s grasp on reality begins to unravel and he suspects that a sinister force within the house knows more than he or Susanna have revealed, even to each other.”

David Koepp (Stir of Echoes, Secret Window), whose impressive resume of writing credits includes Death Becomes Her, Jurassic Park, Mission: Impossible, Panic Room and Spider-Man, wrote and directed the film.
