Netflix has just surprised released the Brazilian zombie series “Reality Z”, an adaptation of British horror miniseries “Dead Set” by “Black Mirror” creator Charlie Brooker. Add it to your list here.
“‘Reality Z’ is set against the stunning backdrop of Brazilian city Rio de Janeiro, where a zombie apocalypse forces the participants and producers of the “Olimpo” reality show to take shelter in the self-sustaining bespoke set.”
The series was adapted by Brazilian director, screenwriter and executive producer Cláudio Torres with Conspiração’s production.
It stars Guilherme Weber (O Negócio, Real: O Plano por Trás da História), Jesus Luz (Guerra dos Sexos, Aquele Beijo), Ana Hartmann (Onde Nascem os Fortes, Me Chama de Bruna), Emilio de Mello (Psi, O Outro Lado do Paraíso), Carla Ribas (Casa de Alice, Aquarius), Luellem de Castro (Malhação, Veronica), Ravel Andrade (Sessão de Terapia, Onde Nascem os Fortes), and Sabrina Sato (A Grande Vitória, O Concurso).
