Next up from Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2 and Hobbs & Shaw director David Leitch is the action-thriller Bullet Train, and Deadline reports today that Brad Pitt is on board to star.
The Sony film is based on Maria Beetle by Kotaro Isaka, adapted by screenwriter Zak Olkewicz.
“In the novel, five assassins find themselves on a fast moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are not unrelated to each other. The question becomes who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?”
Producers include Leitch, Kelly McCormick, Antoine Fuqua and Kat Samick.
