Known to horror fans for his starring role as Aaron Boone in 1990’s Clive Barker-directed Nightbreed, Craig Sheffer will be making his return to the world of horror in Gregory Lamberson’s Widow’s Point, an adaptation of the supernatural book co-written by Richard Chizmar and his son Billy. 101 Films has acquired North American rights.
Deadline reports that 101 Films will release Widow’s Point to Digital on September 1.
The film tells “the story of a writer who spends a weekend locked in a haunted lighthouse to help promote his next book, where he is targeted by supernatural forces.”
KateLynn E. Newberry (Homecoming Revenge) also stars.
