Martin Scorsese’s ‘Shutter Island’ Getting a New Non-Steelbook 4K Ultra HD Release in October

This past February, Paramount celebrated 10 years of Martin Scorsese‘s psychological horror movie Shutter Island with a Limited Edition 4K Ultra HD Steelbook release, and a standard edition 4K Ultra HD release is now headed our way. Without the Steelbook packaging this time, Shutter Island gets another 4K Ultra HD/Blu-ray/Digital release on October 6, 2020.

Based on the best-selling novel by Dennis Lehane,

Shutter Island follows U.S. Marshal Teddy Daniels (Leonardo DiCaprio) as he navigates what appears to be a routine investigation that quickly turns sinister.

Mark RuffaloBen Kingsley, Max von Syndow, and Michelle Williams also star.

The featurettes “Behind the Shutters” and “Into the Lighthouse” will be included.
