Chinese Aquatic Monster Movie ‘Big Octopus’ Unleashes a Cthulhu-Sized Beast [Trailer]

Coming in the wake of this year’s aquatic horror movie Underwater is the Chinese monster movie Big Octopus, and true to the title, the star of the show is a massive cephalopod!

Looking more like Cthulhu than any octopus we’ve ever seen, the beast is unleashed in a trailer we’ve been provided with this week. And it looks like there’s a man-eating shark swimming in the same waters occupied by the titular Big Octopus, cause why the hell not?!

Check out the trailer below, which is home to all the questionable CGI you’re craving!

Frank Xiang directed Big Octopus, starring Mu Liu and Candice Zhao.

Thanks to Avery Guerra for sending the trailer our way.
