“Stranger Things” star Finn Wolfhard has his own band, in case you didn’t know, and it’s called The Aubreys. Their latest music video, well, it’s nothing if not downright bizarre!
In the video for “Smoke Bomb,” directed by Jeremy Schaulin-Rioux, Wolfhard and his The Aubreys bandmate Malcom Craig enter classic horror films including Predator, The Shining and The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, their faces digitally (and quite crudely) placed atop iconic characters like Leatherface, Jason Voorhees and even the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park.
Why? Who knows, but the video at least serves as proof that Wolfhard, who also starred in It, It: Chapter Two and the upcoming Ghostbusters: Afterlife, is definitely a horror fan!
You can watch “Smoke Bomb” down below.
In the Fall of 2019, Wolfhard and drummer Malcolm Craig formed The Aubreys. In March 2020, The Aubreys released their first official EP entitled “Soda & Pie” through the independent record label AWAL. The band is currently working on their first full album.
