A brand new trailer has been released by NEON today for Brandon Cronenberg‘s Possessor, and we’ve also learned that the film is coming *home* in November of this year.
Possessor will first be unleashed upon the world on October 9, 2020. It’s coming to standard movie theaters and drive-in theaters on that date, in its fully uncut form.
“Possessor Uncut” then comes to Digital and VOD on November 6.

NEON describes the film as “An arresting sci-fi thriller about elite, corporate assassin Tasya Vos (Andrea Riseborough). Using brain-implant technology, Vos takes control of other people’s bodies to execute high profile targets. As she sinks deeper into her latest assignment, Vos becomes trapped inside a mind that threatens to obliterate her.”
Meagan Navarro wrote in her 4.5 star review for BD, “For those that love cerebral thrillers with practical gore, wrapped up in a stimulating sci-fi package, this is a must.”
Christopher Abbott, Tuppence Middleton, Sean Bean and Jennifer Jason Leigh also star.
