‘Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night’ Headed to iOS And Android

After successfully filling that Castlevania niche for many PC and console gamers, Bloodstained: Ritual of The Night is turning to mobile. Publisher NetEase Games and developer ArtPlay have announced that the spiritual successor to Castlevania will hit iOS and Android devices “soon”.

The mobile version of Bloodstained will be a paid download, and support multiple languages. Also, much like what you’d expect from a mobile port of this nature, the mobile version will feature a mobile-optimized controls screen, a revamped system user interface, Skill Shard icons, and a new achievements system. Over 120 monsters and bosses, 107 weapons, and 23 weapon skills that appeared in the original game will appear in the mobile version.

With regards to the command-based techniques of the original release, a new mechanic based on the command method will be used that makes them easier to pull off in the mobile version. As a “one-up” over the console and PC versions, the mobile version will have a new shortcut button, allowing players to quickly change weapons and equipment.

Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is available now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam.
