Ahead of Frictional Games releasing Amnesia: Rebirth this Tuesday, in what’s probably more than a coincidence, the Epic Games Store has indulged players with a free copy of Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs. This is once again part of Epic’s “free game(s) a week” promotion that they’ve been doing (thanks to those Fortnite bucks), so why not take advantage of it?
Available now until October 22nd at 11am, you can snag A Machine For Pigs, along with noio’s non-horror game Kingdom New Lands. Originally meant to be a mod developed by The Chinese Room, A Machine For Pigs is an indirect sequel to Amnesia: The Dark Descent.
That’s only a prelude to the next round of free horror games. Available after A Machine For Pigs are Bloober Team’s Layers of Fear 2 (which was originally released last year on Steam) and Double Fine’s Costume Quest 2, which will run until October 29th.
Amnesia: Rebirth will be available for PlayStation 4 and PC via Steam, GOG, and the Epic Games Store. Look out for our review of the game soon.
