The locusts are coming for blood in The Swarm, which Bloody DIsgusting first told you about a few months ago.
Now, Netflix has acquired worldwide rights on The Swarm (La Nuée), the new dramatic thriller from Just Philippot, out of the virtual Cannes market. (The deal excludes France, Spain and China.)
In the film, life is hard for Virginie, who lives on a farm with her children, and raises grasshoppers to be made into flour.
But everything changes when she discovers the locusts have a taste for blood…
Things get Biblical in the The Swarm, which stars Marie Narbonne, Suliane Brahim, Sofian Khammes, and Raphaël Romand.
