“American Horror Story” Season 10 Theme Teased With First Official Promo Art

For the first time since the show began, there will not be a new season of “American Horror Story” this year, as filming wasn’t able to take place pre-Halloween due to the pandemic.

“American Horror Story” will return in 2021, however, and creator Ryan Murphy took to Instagram last night to tease the season’s theme with the first piece of promo art.

The art looks very similar to a much less polished image Murphy had shared to Instagram a while back, depicting a sharp-toothed woman receiving a tattoo on her tongue.

Murphy had recently been teasing a beach theme for Season 10, with many wondering if it’ll feature scary mermaids. Could this be our first glimpse at one of those creatures?

As always, we expect many more promo teasers like this one in the months to come…

In addition to Sarah Paulson, who recently confirmed she’d be returning for season 10, the cast will also include fellow “AHS” regulars Evan PetersKathy BatesBillie Lourd, Finn WittrockLily RabeLeslie GrossmanAdina Porter and Angelica Ross.

The most surprising addition to the cast? None other than Macaulay Culkin!
