Capcom Announces Cross-Promotion With ‘Monster Hunter’ Film and ‘Monster Hunter: Iceborne’; Play as Milla Jovovich!

Never let a good opportunity go to waste. At least, that’s what Capcom is doing by announcing that Monster Hunter World: Iceborne will have a cross-promotion with the upcoming Paul W.S. Anderson-helmed Monster Hunter movie.

The cross-promotion comes in the form of a pair of limited-time Event Quests, beginning on December 3, just in time for the film to launch on December 4.

Players will assume the role of Artemis (voiced by Milla Jovovich) from the new film in “The New World” and “To Our World”. Both quests require Master Rank 1 or above, with “To Our World” only accessible after you complete “The New World”. In order to participate, you must have the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion.

What do you get upon completing the quests? A new Guild Card Background, for one, as well as new Guild Card Poses and Guild Card Titles. The good news for those waiting on a sale for Iceborne is that the events will be available until December 2, 2021. That being said, you’ll probably want to get in on it sooner rather than later to experience the whole thing with friends.

Monster Hunter World: Iceborne is available now on PC via Steam, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Monster Hunter stars Milla Jovovich, TI Harris, Meagan Good, Diego Boneta, Ron Perlman and Tony Jaa.
