‘Control: Ultimate Edition’ Hits Next-Gen Consoles Digitally in February 2021, Physically in March

If you’ve been holding out for base next-gen versions of Remedy’s Control, you’ve got your wish this February. Control: Ultimate Edition will launch digitally for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series on February 2, 2021, and physically on March 2, publisher 505 Games and developer Remedy Entertainment announced.

On top of that, Remedy has released a new trailer touting the next-gen benefits of Control: Ultimate Edition on the PlayStation 5, highlighting the new version’s 60 frames per second “Performance Mode” and 30 frames per second “Graphics Mode.”

Control: Ultimate Edition is also available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (where you can still grab that free next-gen upgrade if you already own the game), and PC.
