The one-two punch of “The Haunting of Hill House” and this year’s “The Haunting of Bly Manor” has provided us with some of the most exceptional small screen horror in recent years. And there’s endless potential for the anthology-like series to continue for many years to come, hopefully telling brand new tales and more adaptations of classic ghost stories.
At this time, however, there are no current plans for another season.
Taking to Twitter this afternoon, Mike Flanagan noted that “At the moment there are no plans for more chapters.” He continued, “Never say never, of course, but right now we are focused on a full slate of other Intrepid projects for 2021 and beyond.”
One of those projects from Flanagan and Intrepid is the brand new horror series “Midnight Mass,” which just wrapped filming this month. You’ll find it on Netflix likely next year.
Mike Flanagan directed all episodes of “Midnight Mass,” so start getting excited.
