‘Spiral’: One of the Year’s Best Gets a DVD/Blu-ray Release

One of the biggest surprises of the year, director Kurtis David Harder (Summerland) will see his social horror Spiral arrive on DVD and Blu-ray on January 19, 2021, from RLJE Films.

In the film, Malik (Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman, American Horror Story) and Aaron (Ari Cohen, It: Chapter Two), a same-sex couple, move to a small town in search of a better environment for them and their 16-year-old daughter (Jennifer Laporte, Web of Dreams).

But nothing is as it seems as something sinister lies behind the picturesque homes and welcoming faces of their new neighbors.

John Squires raved about the film, writing that “Spiral explores social horrors with all the effectiveness of Get Out.”
