Plastic Meatball Releasing Retro-Style ‘Psycho Goreman’ Action Figures

Ahead of this Friday’s release of Steven Kostanski’s gory new movie Psycho Goreman, Plastic Meatball has announced that they’re releasing action figures (and more) based on the movie!

Plastic Meatball tells us, “We have signed on to develop a full line of retro-style merchandise for the upcoming horror-comedy PG: Psycho Goreman.”

“As you know, it’s pretty rare for a low-budget genre flick like this to get a full merch push upon its initial release. But we were just so charmed by the film when we saw an early version of it last spring that we had to jump on board,” the company adds. “We decided to treat it the way Kenner tried to make a line of child friendly Alien toys back in ’79. That just seemed hilarious to us, considering the amount of blood and gore in the film.”

Partnering with Crazy Ball, Inc. on the property, Plastic Meatball teases that “toys, apparel, games, housewares and more” will be part of their line of Psycho Goreman merch!

Psycho Goreman follows siblings Mimi and Luke, who unwittingly resurrect an ancient alien overlord. Using a magical amulet, they force the monster to obey their childish whims, and accidentally attract a rogues’ gallery of intergalactic assassins to small-town suburbia.
