KillPixel Games’ throwback shooter WRATH: Aeon of Ruin is set to leave Steam Early Access this summer, but not before the game has one more update, which is available now. The new update introduces players to the final level in WRATH’s first hub: The Hollow, a dense forest packed with ancient ruins and horrifying creatures.
Of course, players aren’t going in empty-handed with the update. You’ll now be able to wield a powerful new artifact capable of summoning an arcane shield. It’s probably a good thing, since you’ll now also be facing aquatic abominations known as Lurkers.
Created with the original Quake engine, WRATH: Aeon of Ruin was released back in 2019 onto Steam Early Access, and will be released for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in Summer 2021.
