‘Death Rider in the House of Vampires’: Everyone’s a Blood-Sucker in Glenn Danzig’s Horror Western [Trailer]

Director Glenn Danzig follows up the infamous Verotika with brand new Vampire Spaghetti Western Death Rider in the House of Vampires, and the trailer has been unleashed today!

Danzig himself appears in a supporting role as “Bad Bathory” alongside a cast including Final Destination‘s Devon Sawa (photo), Book of Shadows: Blair Witch 2 star Kim Director (photo), and Julian Sands (photo), star of Gothic, Warlock, Romasanta: The Werewolf Hunt, Boxing Helena, and Arachnophobia. Danny Trejo and filmmaker Eli Roth also appear.

Sawa plays the title character, the Death Rider in the house of vampires, with Director playing Carmilla Jo and Sands as Count Holliday, who rules the Vampire Sanctuary.

Everybody in the movie is a vampire,” Danzig had teased a while back now. “So, you won’t have to wait around to see the vampire. They’re all fucking vampires!”

Check out the trailer below, via The Wrap today. Danzig’s horror-western hybrid looks heavily influenced by the films of Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez, so much so that the trailer wouldn’t have been out of place as a faux trailer in 2007’s Grindhouse. And we’ve got a feeling we’re all going to be talking about Death Rider this year, for better or worse…
