Rumour: ‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’ Crossing Over With ‘Fortnite’?

After all of the hoopla the past couple of weeks with the Predator and the Terminator being guest characters in Fortnite, the latest rumour has yet another surprise. According to a well-known Fortnite dataminer, Five Nights at Freddy’s could be making their way to the battle royale shooter.

Nothing’s been confirmed at this point. However, in a brief YouTube video, Fortnite dataminer Hypex reveals that that there’s an encrypted Fortnite skin with the code name “FrenchFry”. The only decrypted files are of some footsteps.

Now, why does Hypex speculate that it’s FNAF? Well generally, the code name’s first letters match that of the name of the person’s skin. As such, the code name could be referring to Freddy Fazbear. As for the footsteps, they could belong to another FNAF character in Foxy.

Again, this is all speculation, with no real substantial evidence that Five Nights at Freddy’s and Fortnite are doing a crossover later this season. However, with other video game characters such as God of War‘s Kratos and Halo‘s Master Chief having already made appearances in the game, it’s not out of the realm of possibility.
