Sheri Moon Zombie Interviews Rob Zombie in Fun Animated Promo Video for ‘The Lunar Injection’

Rob Zombie is gearing up for the release of his brand new album The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, which is set for release on March 12 via Nuclear Blast.

The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy is Zombie’s seventh studio album, and he’s paving the road to its release with a fun video series titled “Zombie Interviews Zombie.”

The short videos, which serve as promo for the upcoming album, see Sheri Moon Zombie interviewing Rob Zombie, with their words brought to life through animated versions of the real-life couple. The first video in the series launched this morning, and in it Zombie and Zombie talk about the wacky titles for Rob Zombie albums and how this new one came about.

“I don’t think I’m capable of breaking it down,” Zombie says of the title The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy, while noting that it does have more meaning than it may seem.

The LP marks Zombie’s first new album in nearly five years. The press release teases, “The Lunar Injection Kool Aid Eclipse Conspiracy is a classic Zombie album to its core with high-energy rages like “The Eternal Struggles of the Howling Man” and “Get Loose” to heavy-groove thumpers like “Shadow Of The Cemetery Man” and “Shake Your Ass-Smoke Your Grass.”
