Bethesda Reveals 2021 Roadmap For ‘Fallout 76’

Bethesda is sticking to Fallout 76 for another year, unveiling the 2021 content roadmap for the online RPG. The new roadmap includes new content and additions to the game, as well as several new expansions.

The Spring content update will add the long-awaited S.P.E.C.I.A.L. loadouts to the game, which is something that fans have wanted since the game launched back in 2018. The new addition allows players to create punch card machines in camps or visit them in train stations to swap their perk cards and stats for their character builds.

Summer brings about the conclusion to the Brotherhood of Steel storyline that was introduced last year. Steel Reign will introduce new quests, locations, NPCs, and rewards. You’ll also be able to craft new legendary power armor and items with the update.

Autumn is a little light on details, but players will finally be able to take advantage of Private Worlds, which were originally only available to subscribers of Fallout First. There’s also the required Halloween event called The Ritual, though again, details are lacking for the present.

Finally, Winter has Tales from the Stars, which looks to finally have aliens join the Fallout 76 world, which includes a new Public Challenge that will have players across the map battling the extraterrestrial invaders.

Bethesda will be hosting a Reddit AMA later today starting at 11:30am ET, which will hopefully reveal a few more details about the roadmap.

Fallout 76 is currently available for PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
