SYFY Airing a ‘Child’s Play’ Marathon on April 1st Including Every Movie from the Original to ‘Cult of Chucky’!

Later this year, Chucky makes his small screen debut with Don Mancini‘s series “Chucky” on both USA and SYFY, and SYFY is paving the road to the show’s premiere with an all-day marathon of the entire Child’s Play franchise next Thursday, April 1st. That is, every film from the *original* franchise, not including the 2019 remake that introduced a whole new Chucky.

Mancini said in a statement to SYFY, “As a tasty aperitif in anticipation of Chucky’s upcoming savory 8-course SYFY/USA TV series, we’re super-excited to announce that fans will be able to experience Chucky’s entire 7-film (and counting!), 33-year (and counting!) legacy in a single marathon event of pure terror on April 1 on SYFY! Nothing foolish about that!”

The marathon kicks off at 7am EST on April 1, and SYFY breaks down the full schedule today:

  • 7:00 a.m. EST — Child’s Play (1988)
  • 8:58 a.m. EST — Child’s Play 2 (1990)
  • 10:57 a.m. EST — Child’s Play 3 (1991)
  • 1:00 p.m. EST — Bride of Chucky (1998)
  • 3:02 p.m. EST — Seed of Chucky (2004)
  • 5:00 p.m. EST — Curse of Chucky (2013)
  • 7:00 p.m. EST — Cult of Chucky (2017)
  • 9:00 p.m. EST — Child’s Play (1988)
  • 11:00 p.m. EST — Child’s Play 2 (1990)
  • 12:59 a.m. EST —  Child’s Play 3 (1991)

SYFY’s website also notes, “Curse of Chucky and Bride of Chucky will also re-air the following afternoon (Friday, April 2) at 12:30 p.m. EST and 2:33 p.m. EST, respectively.”
