‘The Walking Dead’ Arrives in Mobile Strategy Game ‘State of Survival’ Next Month

Chalk up another video game crossover for The Walking Dead. Developer and publisher FunPlus, together with their KingsGroup studio, has announced that they’ve teamed up with AMC to bring The Walking Dead into a crossover with FunPlus’ free-to-play mobile game, State of Survival

Starting on April 15th and running through October 2021, players and fans will be able to interact with and play as a character from The Walking Dead in the game. No details are available as of yet as to which characters you’ll be able to see in the game.

“We’re thrilled to partner with AMC and The Walking Dead to bring our two worlds together,” says Chris Petrovic, Chief Business Officer at FunPlus in a press release. “Since launching State of Survival in August 2019, it has been our dream to allow players the opportunity to experience The Walking Dead in our game, and we’re excited to be able to deliver that to them.”

Available on Android and iOS devices, State of Survival takes place six months after a zombie apocalypse. You are one of the survivors, and it’s up to you and your friends to build a city with a strategy to survive the roaming zombies and other horrors.

Currently, you can download the game on the Google Play Store, or through the App Store.
