PC gamers in the mood for another FMV-based thriller will have Flavourworks’ Erica as an option next month, as the game will be headed to Steam on May 25.
Originally released back in 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Erica centres on, well, Erica Mason (played by Holly Earl), a young lady suffering from nightmares of her father’s murder. As these things go, when new clues are uncovered regarding the murder, so are the traumatic events of Erica’s childhood. It’s up to the player to uncover it all.
Much like what players have experienced with other FMV-based titles, Erica features a branching narrative where the decisions you make affect how the story unfolds. Erica’s interactions with other characters through conversation not only advance the story, but also shape her relationships with them.
